Exercising Influence:
Influencing Globally across Cultural Boundaries

Influence has many cultural components. In today’s globally-connected world, even in our small organization, we find ourselves working with and needing to influence colleagues and customers in many countries and from many backgrounds.

Barnes & Conti has years of experience adapting the style and pace of the our Exercising Influence program to the cultural norms of the place where we are working. We have become more and more aware of how cultures differ in different parts of the same organization, even within the same country.

Influence Tactics in Spanish

While it is true that in some cultures, certain behavioral skills are less important or appropriate within the culture. However, if you and your organization work globally, you will find it helpful to develop a broad repertoire of influence behaviors and influence skills.

Barnes & Conti’s global network has facilitated the Exercising Influence program across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions
